Albaranzeuli Bianco
Albaranzeuli Bianco is a white wine cultivated in the Italian region of Sardinia . It is generally not made into a single variety, but used as a blending partner. Although their cultivation is recommended in the province of Oristano , the area under vines in the 1990s was a meager 23 hectares .
Assumptions suggest that the grape variety was imported from Spain during the Spanish occupation from 1323 to 1713.
The red grape variety Albaranzeuli Nero is also grown in Sardinia .

Ampelographic varietal characteristics
In ampelography , the habitus is described as follows:
- The shoot tip is open. It is only slightly woolly hairy, greenish with a slightly reddish tinge. The whitish - light green young leaves are slightly hairy.
- The medium-sized leaves are five-lobed and deeply indented (see also the article leaf shape ). The stem bay is closed with an overlap. The blade is roughly serrated.
- The cone-shaped to cylindrical grape is medium-sized and has loose berries. The round berries are medium-sized and golden yellow in color.
The grape variety ripens about 30 days after the Gutedel and is therefore considered to ripen late.
Albaranzeuli Bianco is a variety of the noble grapevine ( Vitis vinifera ). It has hermaphroditic flowers and is therefore self-fruiting. In viticulture , the economic disadvantage of not having to grow male plants that produce yield is avoided.
