Quote
“In Frankfurt I stayed at the Hotel de Russie; at the table d'hote sat Prince Lynar and Count Leiningen, in Austrian uniforms; further a whole agitation of Bundestag delegates. The conversation was mediocre, the wine was poor. ... But there I made the acquaintance of a very amiable parliament ruin, in the person of the city commandant of Frankfurt, the Prussian Colonel von Deetz. ” ( Georg Weerth 1852 to Friedrich Engels ).
