Albert Ayinde Fasina

Albert Ayinde Fasina (born July 8, 1939 in Odolewu , Nigeria ) is a Nigerian clergyman and emeritus Roman Catholic Bishop of Ijebu-Ode .

Life

Albert Ayinde Fasina received on 3 March 1980, the sacrament of Holy Orders .

On 21 June 1988 appointed him Pope John Paul II. To Coadjutor Bishop of Ijebu-Ode. The Archbishop of Lagos , Anthony Olubunmi Okogie , donated him episcopal ordination on September 10th of the same year ; Co- consecrators were the Bishop of Ijebu-Ode, Anthony Saliu Sanusi , and the Bishop of Ibadan , Felix Alaba Adeosin Job . On August 14, 1990, Albert Ayinde Fasina became Bishop of Ijebu-Ode, succeeding Anthony Saliu Sanusi, who resigned for reasons of age.

On January 17, 2019, Pope Francis accepted Albert Ayinde Fasina's request for resignation.
