Albert Göttle

Albert Göttle (born April 26, 1947 in Oberstdorf ) is a German civil engineer , construction clerk and university professor . Since 2013 he has been President of the Bavarian State Fisheries Association .

Live and act

Göttle studied civil engineering after high school and military service at the Technical University of Munich and graduated in 1973 with the academic degree of Diplom-Ingenieur. In 1978 he was charged with a dissertation on a theme from the water doctorate . He completed his preparatory service for the higher civil engineering administration service in 1980 as a government master builder ( assessor ). Until 1982 he was department head in the water management office in Kempten (Allgäu) , then until 1987 consultant for the field of hydraulic engineering at the supreme building authority in the Bavarian State Ministry of the Interior. From 1987 to 1993 he headed the Kempten Water Management Office and from 1993 to 2000 he worked as the head of the “Water Management in Rural Areas and Torrents” division at the Bavarian State Ministry for Regional Development and Environmental Issues. Until 2005 he was President of the Bavarian State Office for Water Management before he became President of the Bavarian State Office for the Environment . At the end of March 2011, he was appointed head of the newly designed reactor safety and eco-energy department of the Bavarian Ministry of the Environment .

In addition to these offices, he was a lecturer at the Technical University of Munich from 1988 , and in 1994 he was appointed honorary professor. Among other things, he is the flood protection officer for Bavaria, vice president of the international research association for preventive flood protection "Interprävent" and representative of the Federal Republic of Germany in the European standards committee CEN WG 22.
