Albert Gautier

Albert Gautier (born May 16, 1853 in Pforzheim ; † June 29, 1931 in Herrenalb ) was a German administrative officer, local politician and judge.

Life

After graduating from high school in Heidelberg , Albert Gautier studied law at the Ruprecht-Karls-Universität Heidelberg . In 1872 he became a member of the Corps Suevia Heidelberg . After studying and obtaining his doctorate, he became a legal intern in 1876 and a trainee lawyer at the Rastatt district office in 1880 . From 1882 to 1884 he was a clerk at the Freiburg district office and then at the Bruchsal district office . In 1886 he was appointed senior bailiff and board member of the Stockach district office . In 1888 he was given leave of absence to take up the post of Lord Mayor of Bruchsal . In 1892 he resigned from the civil service to continue this office, which he held when he resigned in 1898. Then he was in Mannheim and from 1899 in Heidelberg district judge. He retired in 1912.
