Albertaich is a hamlet with a church in the Obing community in the Traunstein district .
history
Albertaich is a former place of pilgrimage . The Catholic branch church St. Jakobus d. Ä. is a late Gothic hall building with a west tower, probably from the middle of the 15th century. The baroque expansion around 1670 was carried out by master builder Kaspar Zucalli from Graubünden .
The political municipality Albertaich was created by the Bavarian municipal edict in 1818. In 1933 it had 760 inhabitants. As a result of the regional reform in Bavaria , with effect from January 1, 1972, most of the municipality was incorporated into the municipality of Obing, the districts of Eggerdach and Gröben became part of the neighboring municipality of Amerang .
