Albin Lang

Albin Lang (born June 25, 1901 in Kelheim , † December 18, 1984 in Landshut ) was a German local politician .

Life

Albin Lang, son of the landowner Julius Lang and Maria née Ehrle, studied law at the University of Würzburg . As a result, Lang was employed at regional courts in various places of work until he was appointed regional judge in Landshut in 1940 , and later became regional court director.

The non-party Albin Lang served as honorary mayor from 1948 to 1952, then as full-time mayor of the city of Landshut until 1969 . In 1971 Albin Lang was made an honorary citizen of Landshut . The Landshut City Park was renamed Albin-Lang-Park in his honor .
