Albin Schweri
Albin Schweri (full name: Philip Alfred Albin (Albinus) Schweri ; born March 1, 1885 in Ramsen ; died January 30, 1946 in Bern ) was a Swiss painter , glass painter , mosaicist and graphic artist .
Life
His parents were senior teachers and lived in Ramsen. In 1907 he entered the Academy of Fine Arts in Munich , where he attended the drawing school under the direction of Peter von Halms .
Several churches have been decorated with paintings and stained glass windows by him, including the Ramsen Catholic Church , the side aisles of the Trinity Church (Bern) , the Marienkirche (Bern) , the parish church Herz Jesu in Lungern , the side windows of the Martinskirche in St. Imier and the Way of the Cross in the Brother Klaus church , Zurich .
