Alea is a German band that plays melancholy - Chansonese pop music .
history
Alea was founded in 1984 by the three brothers Andreas, Peter, Matthias Philipzen and Carsten Hormes. She first published songs in English under the name "Chaplin". The name was changed to "Alea" in 1990. Since then, the band has only been writing songs in German.
In 2001 and 2010 they took part in the songs on a summer evening , their song Erste Flieder was published on the anniversary CD in 2011.
