Aleksey (Alexander Preik, * 1977 ) is a German rapper and DJ who was born on the west coast of Africa and grew up in Braunschweig . First he chose the stage name Aleks-Cee, which stood for Alexander Cooper. Because he was usually pronounced as "Aleksey", Preik changed his pseudonym accordingly.

biography

Music played a major role for Alexander Preik from an early age. As a child he made breakdance, teenage, he was a member of Phase V , a metal - crossover band. The show Yo! MTV Raps inspired him to do freestyle rap . The Method Man fan was already a member of the Jazzkantine at the age of 17 and performed around 200 times a year.

In 1995 the first solo album Aleksey was released . The second album, Mikrokosmos, followed in 1998 with the help of the other members of the 'Jazzkantine' and the rapper Cappuccino . The long player world premiere hit stores in 2000. Aleksey went on tour through Germany and played in the opening act for Puff Daddy .

Aleksey now works as a DJ and has engagements in Europe and Asia. His favorite styles are Tech House , House and Techno Classics .
