After more than 8 months of abstinence from the ring, he won confidently against Bosko Misic, by TKO in the 5th round. After a controversial tie in the fight for the WBO Intercontinental Super Middleweight Title, he became IBO International Light Heavyweight Champion on December 10, 2019 with a win against the American John Rene and thus secured the placement in the top 15 in the world as well as the greatest success of his career so far. Both title fights took place with a large number of celebrities in the Bio-Hotel Stanglwirt near Kitzbühel . The boxing match for the IBO international title was held as part of a charity event, at the end of which a check for 20,000 euros was handed over to "Kleine Helden eV / Tribute to Bambi Foundation".
