Alessandra Zendron

Alessandra Zendron (born August 10, 1951 in Bozen , Italy ) is an Italian politician, publicist and documentary filmmaker from South Tyrol .

Life

Alessandra Zendron graduated from the University of Padua with a degree in literature . She then worked as a teacher and then moved to the Rai broadcaster in Bozen as a program designer and director , where she was responsible for documentaries on Tyrolean tradition, history and urban planning. In addition to her job, she was involved in the state secretariat of the UIL / SGK union , works as a publicist and is the founder of the Bolzano film school Zelig .

After Alexander Langer was elected to the European Parliament in 1989, Zendron took over his mandate in the South Tyrolean state parliament and in the regional council of Trentino-South Tyrol as a representative of the Green Alternative List. In 1993 and 1998, Zendron was re-elected as a candidate for the South Tyrolean Greens . From 1999 to 2002 Zendron was assessor in the regional government for the coordination of regional powers, the offices of justice of the peace and the simplification of administrative procedures. In the years 1994–1996 and 1999–2001 she was Vice President of the State Parliament, from 2001 to 2003 she was President of the same. Before the state elections in 2003, Zendron was excluded from the list of Greens and therefore entered the Alternative Rosa Alternative Enrosadira list , but was unable to win a seat.
