Alessandro Tiarini
Alessandro Tiarini (born March 20, 1577 in Bologna , † February 8, 1668 ) was an Italian painter .
His mother died early; he grew up with an aunt who tried unsuccessfully to induce him to pursue a career in the church.
The painter Lavinia Fontana was his godmother. His teachers included Prospero Fontana and Bartolomeo Cesi . After a fatal argument, Tiarini fled to Florence. There he worked mainly for Domenico Passignano , but also for Bernardino Poccetti and Jacopo da Empoli .
