Alessio Faustini

Alessio Faustini (born June 10, 1960 in Rome ) is a former Italian marathon runner .

In 1983 he won the marathon in the Universiade in Edmonton . At the 1985 IAAF World Cup marathon he came in 23rd place, and in 1986 he was eleventh at the Fukuoka marathon . In 1988 he won silver at the European Cup marathon .

At the 1991 IAAF World Cup marathon held as part of the London Marathon , he finished 14th. In the same year he did not reach the goal at the World Athletics Championships in Tokyo .

In 1992 he won the Turin Marathon with his personal best of 2:11:03 h and qualified for the Olympic Games in Barcelona , where he finished 44th.
