Alex Norberto Cano Ardila (born March 13, 1983 in Yarumal , Colombia ) is a Colombian racing cyclist .
Athletic career
In 2006 Alex Cano won a stage at the Giro Ciclistico d'Italia , the U23 edition of the Giro d'Italia . The following year he was the overall winner of the Giro della Valle d'Aosta . In 2012 he won two stages of the Vuelta Mexico and in 2014 the overall ranking of the Vuelta a Guatemala . In 2015 he started at the Vuelta a España and finished 53rd in the overall ranking. In 2017 he won two stages of the Vuelta a Colombia .
Alex Cano is a cousin of Mauricio Ardila .
