Career

In his youth, Feneridis played for Waitakere City FC and Auckland City FC , where he made the leap to the first team in 2008. After he was already at the game against Hawke's Bay United in the squad without use, he made his debut in the New Zealand top division on January 19, 2008 against Otago United , when he was substituted on in the 67th minute. Feneridis scored his first and only goal this season against Canterbury United on Matchday 13 , when he made it 2-0 in the 41st minute. Auckland ultimately won the match 2-1. On March 29 of the same year he also made his debut for Auckland in the OFC Champions League against AS Manu-Ura from Tahiti when he came on in minute 80. In his first season, Feneridis completed ten games for Auckland.

In the following season, the young midfielder played a total of twelve times and scored both a goal and an own goal in the OFC Champions League against the Port Vila Sharks from Vanuatu . However, the game was safely won 8: 1. In 2008 Feneridis was finally able to win both the New Zealand championship and the OFC Champions League, where he was on the field in the New Zealand final against Waitakere United until the 74th minute and in the Champions League against Koloale FC Honiara from the Solomon Islands in the first leg, as well as in the second leg completed the full playing time. At the end of the season, he also won the junior player of the season title.

Feneridis also played frequently in the 2009/2010 season and made his debut with Auckland at the FIFA Club World Cup in the United Arab Emirates when he came on as a substitute in the 85th minute in the qualifying match against al-Ahli . Auckland won the game 2-0, but Feneridis was no longer used in the further course of the tournament. At the end of the season he was able to book 14 games and one goal.

In the 2010/2011 season, Feneridis only missed three competitive games for the Aucklanders, two of them because of a red card suspension that he incurred in the game against Hawke's Bay United, where he was able to score two goals in this game. Ultimately, he lost the final of the New Zealand Championship against Waitakere United with Auckland, but won the OFC Champions League in the final against Amicale FC from Vanuatu, where he was able to score a goal in the second leg win. Feneridis played a total of 21 games and scored four goals this season.

In 2011/2012 Feneridis played again with Auckland at the FIFA Club World Cup, but there his team lost 2-0 to Kashiwa Reysol from Japan . Again this year he won the Champions League, this time against AS Tefana from Tahiti, Auckland also won the ASB Charity Cup and made his debut for the New Zealand U-23 national team at the U-23 Oceania Championship in his own country. Feneridis played in all of the team's games and ultimately won the title in the final against Fiji, preparing a total of three goals over the course of the tournament. The win meant participation in the 2012 Summer Olympics in London , where Feneridis came on in the 89th minute of the game against Egypt. New Zealand finished last in the group and was eliminated after the preliminary round.

Also in the 2012/2013 season Feneridis was a pillar of the Auckland team and only missed two games, he was able to expand his goal record to five goals this season in the championship and two in the Champions League. He scored the interim 2-0 in the Champions League final against Waitakere United, the game was won 2-1, which meant another title for Feneridis.
