Alex Neustaedter

Alexander Francis Neustaedter (born March 29, 1998 in Kansas City , Kansas ) is an American actor . He gained fame primarily through the role of Bram Bowman from the series Colony .

life and career

Alex Neustaedter was born in Kansas City, in the US state of Kansas. He moved to Los Angeles, California at the age of six, where he took on his first minor roles. He made his first appearance in front of the camera in 2009 in the short film Railroad Ties . In the same year he was seen in the horror film Albino Farm in the role of Samuel . Before he finally settled in Los Angeles, he returned to the Midwest for a while, where, in addition to athletics training, he also completed formal acting training. During this time, he mostly appeared in commercials and a few smaller films.

After moving to Los Angeles at the age of 12, where his mother and then the entire family accompanied him, he first appeared in guest roles in the television series Marvel's Agents of SHIELD and The Dead Diaries . In 2014 he worked with Dane DeHaan in the music video for the single I Bet My Life by the band Imagine Dragons . In 2015 he was cast in the lead role of Homer Macauley in the drama film Ithaca , which was directed by Meg Ryan . From 2016 to 2018 he starred in the series Colony as Nram Bowman in one of the leading roles. In 2017, he played the young Cal , whom Matt Bomer played in adulthood, in the adventure film Walking Out . A year later he played the leading role as Miles in the science fiction film AXL 2019, followed by a central role as Red in the film drama Low Tide .

Neustaedter spends his free time doing sports and traveling. He is also interested in the work of philosophers such as CG Jung and Aristotle .
