Alexander Cranz

Johann Christoph Alexander Cranz (born March 5, 1779 in Crailsheim , † September 15, 1845 in Ulm ) was a Württemberg chief bailiff .

Life and work

Alexander Cranz was the son of a district director. From 1797 to 1803 he started as a clerk at the camera office in Crailsheim . From 1803 to 1806 he worked as an accounting assistant at the Prussian ministerial commission in Ansbach . In 1806 he became auditor at the Prussian War and Domain Chamber and in 1808 district seal official with the title of district secretary in Ansbach. From 1812 to 1815 he was an accountant at the Oberfinanzkammer Stuttgart and from 1815 to 1823 the foundation administrator in Crailsheim and, at times, the chief administrator in Hall . From 1823 to 1828 he headed the Oberamt Aalen and from 1828 to 1834 the Oberamt Sulz . He then became an expeditor with the title of Senior Administrator in the government of the Black Forest District in Reutlingen. Alexander Cranz retired in 1840.
