Alexander Feistl (born November 23, 1985 in Landshut ) is a former German ice hockey player .

Career

Alexander Feistl began his career in 2000 in his hometown at EV Landshut and played there in the DNL until the 2002/03 season . In the same season he played 12 games in the professional squad of Landshut Cannibals , his first professional game he played at the age of 16. In the 2003/04 season he was named the best newcomer in the 2nd Bundesliga.

For the 2006/2007 season he moved to the Eisbären Regensburg within the 2nd Bundesliga to study in Regensburg. At the beginning of the 2008/09 season, Feistl joined the Black Hawks Passau in the major league due to the insolvency of the Eisbären Regensburg .

In the 2010/11 season he returned to his hometown club Landshut Cannibals . For the 2011/12 season he moved to the neighboring EV Moosburg before ending his career in 2017.

Today Feistl works in the family-owned company in ventilation technology / plant construction.

International

Alexander Feistl went through all national ice hockey teams. He played five games for the German U20 national team at the U20 World Cup in Division I in 2004 , where he scored three goals and one assist. With the U20 national team, he made it to the top division.
