The EV Moosburg ( Eissportverein Moosburg ) is an ice hockey club from the Upper Bavarian town of Moosburg an der Isar , which - as a former department in the SG Moosburg and as an independent club - temporarily participated in the third highest division - the major league . The history of the EVM begins as a department in the still existing Sportgemeinschaft Moosburg , whose team rose to the - third class - league in 1973 and stayed in this division until the 1978/79 season. In 1984 the SGM team rose again from the Bayern League to the Regionalliga .

EV Aich

Sparkassen-Arena Moosburg

In addition to ice hockey, other ice sports can currently be found in Moosburg in the covered ice stadium in Moosburg, which is operated by the city of Moosburg. The refurbished ice rink is named after Sparkasse Moosburg. The old ice rink was completely renovated from March to November 2009 and the new covered ice rink has been playable since the 2009/2010 season.
