Alexander Görzen (* 20th April 1986 ) is a German Cross Country - Sommerbiathlet and long distance runners .

Alexander Görzen starts for SV Weitingen and LG Steinlach . At the German Championships in Summer Biathlon 2007 in Frankenhain , he won two bronze medals behind Matthias Raab and Tobias Giering in the air rifle sprint and with Christian Lenk and Tobias Giering as the second representative of Württemberg with the small-caliber relay. In 2009 and 2010 in Zinnwald he was able to win the relay medal alongside Giering and Michael Herr in 2009 and Daniel Hummel in 2010 . This was followed in 2011 in Bayerisch Eisenstein by winning the fourth bronze medal, now behind Marcel Bräutigam and Christian Moser in the small-caliber sprint. With the small caliber squadron of Württemberg, Görzen was able to win a silver medal for the first time alongside Michael Herr and Tobias Giering. The most successful year was 2012 . In Frankenhain, Görzen won after silver behind Tobias Schröder in the air rifle sprint the title in the pursuit in front of Tobias Giering and Schröder. With the air rifle squadron, he won another silver medal alongside Daniel Hummel and Tobias Giering, as well as with Giering and Herr with the small-caliber squadron.

In addition to biathlon, Görzen is also a long-distance runner. In 2012, he was in the 39th Berlin Marathon in the men's main class in a time of 2:42:06 h 208.
