Alexander Richard Ludwig (born May 7, 1992 in Vancouver ) is a Canadian actor .

Career

After a few supporting roles, Alexander Ludwig took on the lead role of Will Stanton in the fantasy film Winter Solstice - The Hunt for the Six Signs of Light in 2007 . At the end of the film he also plays the role of his missing twin brother Tom Stanton . Subsequently, he was hired as "extraterrestrial" Seth in the adventure film The Hunt for the Magic Mountain . In 2012 he played the role of Cato , a career tribute, in the film adaptation of the novel The Hunger Games - The Hunger Games . At the side of Adam Sandler he was then seen in the comedy Grown Ups 2 and together with Mark Wahlberg and Taylor Kitsch in the action film Lone Survivor .

In the second season of the history television series Vikings , Ludwig has been present in the role of Bjorn Eisseite son of Ragnar since March 2014 . In 2015 he starred alongside Nina Dobrev and Taissa Farmiga in the film The Final Girls . In 2016 his film Go With Me , which has already screened at three festivals, was released in cinemas.

In 2012 Alexander Ludwig released his first single “Liv it up (Teenage Wasteland)” on YouTube.

Personal

Ludwig has three younger siblings, two sisters and one brother. His sister Natalie Ludwig works as a model.

The German-Canadian Ludwig lives in Los Angeles .
