Alexander "Alex" Millar (born July 29, 1985 ) is a professional British poker player from England who mainly plays online .

Personal

Millar is from and lives in Northamptonshire . He studied mechanical engineering at the University of Warwick in Coventry .

Poker career

Millar started playing on the online poker platform PokerStars under the nickname Kanu7 during his studies and built himself a bankroll with freerolls and tournaments with low buy-in. Until the end of 2015 he was part of Team PokerStars . Millar also played as IReadYrSoul on Full Tilt Poker . He is considered to be one of the best cash game players in the No Limit Hold'em variant and by the end of 2016 had earned a profit of more than 4.5 million US dollars on the platforms .

Live took Millar several times at the World Series of Poker in the Rio All-Suite Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas part. From 2008 to 2012 , he made the money six times, receiving his highest prize money of just under 25,000 US dollars for 13th place at the triple-chance event in 2009 . His last live cash placement to date was in London in early June 2013 . In total, Millar has earned almost $ 100,000 with poker in live tournaments.
