Alexander Nobis

Alexander Nobis (born May 6, 1990 in Strausberg ) is a German modern pentathlon .

Career

Nobis was in 2012 with the German team to the still Delf Borrmann and Stefan Köllner belonged, vice world champion . In 2015 he won the title together with Marvin Dogue in the relay competition. In June 2015, they were voted Germany's Sportsman of the Month for this success . With Christian Zillekens he was runner-up in the 2017 season. In the mixed relay he was world champion with Ronja Steinborn . So far, he has achieved a podium finish at European Championships . With Stefan Köllner and Fabian Liebig he finished third in the team classification in 2016 . In 2019 Nobis won the world championship title in the relay with Patrick Dogue .

He won the German championship in 2016 . Nobis is a sports soldier in the Bundeswehr sports promotion group . His club are the Wasserfreunde Spandau 04 , he is trained by Peter Deutsch, Gerhard Schröter and Udo Wagner. He is married to the former modern pentathlete Lena Schöneborn .

Nobis was a contestant on the TV game show Beat the Best .
