Alexander Sergejewitsch Pankow ( Russian Александр Сергеевич Панков ; born November 17, 1991 in Ufa , Russian SFSR ) is a Russian ice hockey player who has been under contract with HK Vitjas from the Continental Hockey League since December 2016 .

Career

Alexander Pankow began his career as a hockey player in his hometown in the youth department of Salawat Yulayev Ufa , for whose second team he was initially active in the third-rate Pervaya League in the 2007/08 season . Since 2009 the attacker has played for Salawat's junior team Tolpar Ufa in the multinational junior league Molodjoschnaja Chokkeinaja Liga . In the 2010/11 season he also made his debut for the professional team of Salawat Yulayev Ufa in the Continental Hockey League . In December 2010, he was named the league's rookie of the month.

From the summer of 2011 he was mostly in the farm team, Toros Neftekamsk , used in the second-rate Wysschaja Hockey League before he could fight for a regular place at Salawat Julajew in the season. He then completed most of the season's games in the KHL and was occasionally used in the second division.

In May 2015, it was given to Avtomobilist Yekaterinburg together with Alexei Vasilevsky in exchange for Anton Lasarew .

From December 2016 Pankow played for HK Vitjas in the KHL, but was also used at HK Dynamo Saint Petersburg during the 2017/18 season .
