Alexander Rustemow ( Russian Александр Рустемов ; born July 6, 1973 in Murmansk ) is a Russian chess master .

Life

Rustemow won or occupied top places in several tournaments: 2nd place at the tournament in Minsk (1996), 2nd place at the GM2 tournament in Moscow (1996), 1st place at the tournament in Świdnica (1999), 2nd-6th place. Place at the 53rd Russian championship in Samara (2000), 1st place at the Internet knockout tournament in Dos Hermanas (2002) and 1st – 2nd place. Place at the A tournament in Dos Hermanas (2003).

He has held the title of grandmaster since 1997 . In the Russian team championship he played in 1994 for Krylia Sowetow , 2001 to 2003 for Norilski Nikel Norilsk , with whom he also took part in the European Club Cup in 2001 and 2002 and won it in 2001, in 2004 for the team of Max Wen Yekaterinburg , with whom he was in the same Also participated in the European Club Cup in the year and 2005 for Termosteps Samara . In the German Bundesliga he played for SV Wattenscheid from 1999 to 2014 .
