Alexander Siemon

Alexander Siemon (born October 4, 1967 in Frankfurt am Main ) is a German journalist and television presenter .

Act

After several positions in the banking industry, Alexander Siemon studied theater , film and media studies at the Johann Wolfgang Goethe University in Frankfurt am Main from 1995 to 2000 . At the same time, he completed a traineeship at Taunusfilm GmbH in 1997 .

His journalistic career initially led him as an editor for Deutsche Bank TV and RTL Hessen Live . In autumn 1999 he switched to the “ Sat.1 Nachrichten ” in Mainz , where he presented the regional news for Hesse and Rhineland-Palatinate on a weekly basis . In the summer of 2000, Siemon went to the news channel N24 (now WELT), where he has been part of the permanent team of moderators in the business and news department since July 2002. From 2004 to 2009, Siemon also moderated the news programs for the television station kabel eins .
