Alexander by François
Alexander August von François (born April 21, 1813 in Eckartswalde ; † July 3, 1861 in Frankfurt (Oder) ) was district administrator of the Demmin district and general director in Pasewalk from 1851 to 1860 .
Alexander August von François was a son of August Leopold Friedrich Wilhelm von François (1772–1835), an officer in the Prussian service, and his wife Emilie Juliane von Zeschau. He attended the Pforta State School from 1826 to 1832 . He then studied law in Leipzig . In 1850 he was a higher court assessor in Demmin . The following year he was appointed district administrator of the Demmin district.
He was married to Emilie Born and had the sons Bruno von François (born November 29, 1845 in Demmin; † August 1846 ibid) and Felix von François (born July 24, 1847 in Demmin; † 1881 in Naples) and their daughter, born in 1850 Helene. Felix von François married Ida von Natzmer on November 17, 1876 (* March 27, 1853; † April 4, 1900). The widow married Wilhelm von Zitzewitz in 1893 .
