Alexander Friedrich von Prittwitz und Gaffron ( Russian Александр Фёдорович Притвиц ; born August 30, 1838 in Saint Petersburg , Russian Empire ; † 1915 in Petrograd ) was major general in the Imperial Russian Army .

Prittwitz came from the old, widely branched Silesian noble family of the von Prittwitz family and was the son of the imperial Russian major general Friedrich Karl von Prittwitz and Catherine Freiin von Rosen.
He married on October 9, 1861 in Reval ( Estonia ) Olga Olhoff (born July 22, 1843 in St. Petersburg; † 1921 ), from the Russian nobility .
