Robert von Prittwitz and Gaffron
Robert Carl August von Prittwitz and Gaffron (born April 25, 1806 on Gut Kreisewitz, Kr. Brieg , Lower Silesia ; † April 16, 1889 in Breslau , Lower Silesia) was royal Prussian government president in Silesia and Knight of Honor of the Order of St. John .

Prittwitz came from an old, widely branched Silesian noble family and was the son of the royal Prussian district administrator , state elder and landowner Ernst von Prittwitz, lord of Gut Kreisewitz, and his first wife Helene von Studnitz.
His first marriage was on June 22, 1840 at Gut Kawallen, Kr. Trebnitz ( Lower Silesia ) Johanna von Prittwitz (born February 1, 1821 at Gut Kawallen; † April 28, 1841 in Münster , Westphalia ), the daughter of the landowner Ferdinand von Prittwitz, Mr. on the goods Kawallen, Küßenigk u. a., and Wilhelmine von Prittwitz.
In his second marriage, Prittwitz married on August 9, 1848 in Potsdam Luise von Prittwitz (born December 31, 1828 in Potsdam, † May 1, 1851 in Berlin ), the daughter of the royal Prussian general of the infantry Karl von Prittwitz and his first wife Henriette von Bergh.
Finally, he married in third marriage on December 28, 1854 in Saarbrücken Helene von Stülpnagel (* May 30, 1825 in Potsdam, † October 21, 1911 in Berlin), the daughter of the royal Prussian Lieutenant General Karl Bernhard von Stülpnagel and Eleonore von Bismarck .
