Anton Rothe
Anton Rothe (* 16th April 1837 in Gdansk ; † 27. October 1905 in Kassel ) was a Prussian administrative lawyer , district and provincial government in Gdansk (1883-1887) and Kassel (1887-1893).
Life
As district administrator he worked from October 18, 1872 to January 31, 1875 in the district of Preußisch Stargard , Province of Prussia . In 1875 he switched to the Prussian Ministry of Agriculture as an unskilled worker and became a lecturer in the same year . In 1879 he moved to the Reich Office of the Interior . On January 27, 1883, he took up the post of government president in Danzig. On March 18, 1887, he was transferred to Kassel as district president. In 1893 he became director of the Reich Office for the Interior. From 1896 to 1902 he was Undersecretary of State there .
Anton Rothe died in Kassel in 1905 at the age of 68. He was buried in Cemetery II of the Jerusalem and New Churches in Berlin. The grave has not been preserved.
