Friedrich von Holwede

Frederick Henry Ehrenreich Hans von Holwede (* 13. November 1841 in Berlin , † 6. November 1921 in Breslau ) was a German jurist , district and provincial government in Wroclaw 1903/09 and Danzig 1890-1902.

Life

Friedrich was a son of the Prussian Lieutenant General Ernst von Holwede (1802–1872) and his wife Henriette, née von Sanitz (* 1810).

Holwede studied law and was sworn in as a court of appeal auscultator on September 26, 1864 . In 1870 he passed the assessor examination. He then worked for a few months at the police headquarters in Hanover and then with the government in Liegnitz . Holwede moved as a government assessor from the government in Opole to the post of district administrator in the Prussian district of Zabrze (June 1873–1887). In 1874 he was a Councilor and conductor of the first department to government after Posen added.

On December 13, 1890, he was introduced to the office of President of the Gdansk Governorate in Gdansk .
