Alexandra Leonidovna Pavlova
Alexandra Leonidowna Pawlowa ( Russian Александра Леонидовна Павлова ; born September 10, 1964 in Moscow ; † September 26, 2013 there ) was a Soviet - Russian architect , artist and university professor .
Life
Pavlova's father Leonid Nikolajewitsch Pavlov (1909–1990) was an architect and professor at the Moscow Architecture Institute (MArchI). Her mother, Lija Iossifovna Pavlova, is a professor of architecture at the Moscow National Research University for Construction . The grandfather Nikolai Pavlov was a professor of physics at Moscow University , was in contact with Marie Curie , was a privy councilor (3rd class ) at the court of Nicholas II and was friends with Anatoli Wassiljewitsch Lunacharsky .
Pavlova studied at MArchI in the Faculty of Residential and Public Buildings , graduating in 1988 as an architect. Her teachers were her father and Boris Grigoryevich Barchin .
From 1989 Pavlova worked as a concept artist and worked with the group Art-Blja (group AB) of her husband Andrei Sawin.
In 1996 Pavlova started a partnership with the architect Yuri Eduardowitsch Grigorjan (* 1965). so that in 1999 she founded the Moscow architectural office Projekt Meganom for modern building with him (named after the rock massif Meganom on the south-east coast of Crimea between Feodosia and Sudak ). This included architects, some of whom had worked together since 1991. Julija Wassiljewna Bytschkowa worked there from 2003-2005.
Pavlova taught at MArchI 2006–2013.
Pavlova's brother Nikolai Leonidowtisch Pavlov is a professor at MArchI.
