Oleksandra Oleksandriwna Tymoshenko ( Ukrainian Олександра Олександрівна Тимошенко ; and Alexandra Alexandrovna Tymoshenko , Russian Александра Александровна Тимошенко * 18 February 1972 in Bohuslav , Soviet Union ) is a Soviet and Ukrainian athlete.

At the 1988 Summer Olympics in Seoul , she started for the Soviet Union and won the bronze medal in rhythmic gymnastics .

After the collapse of the Soviet Union , she started at the 1992 Olympic Games in Barcelona for the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) and won the gold medal.
