Alexei Nikolajewitsch Koledajew ( Russian Алексей Николаевич Коледаев ; born March 27, 1976 in Ust-Kamenogorsk , Kazakh SSR ) is a Kazakh ice hockey player who has been under contract with HK Sakhalin in the Asia League Ice Hockey since 2015 .

Career

Alexei Koledajew began his career as a hockey player in the youth department of Torpedo Ust-Kamenogorsk . From there he moved to Metallurg Novokuznetsk , for whose professional team the defender first played in the 1995/96 season in the International Hockey League and then for nine years in its successor, the Russian Super League . He then played for two years for Metallurg's league rivals HK Sibir Novosibirsk before spending the 2007/08 season at his home club Kaszink-Torpedo Ust-Kamenogorsk in the Wysschaja Liga , the second Russian division.

From 2008 to 2011 Koledajew played again for Metallurg Novokuznetsk, this time in the newly formed Continental Hockey League . For the 2011/12 season he returned one more time to Torpedo Ust-Kamenogorsk in the Vysschaya Hockey League . There he played - interrupted by a season with league rivals HK Sokol Krasnoyarsk - until 2015. He then moved to HK Sakhalin , the only Russian team in the Asia League ice hockey .

International

In the junior age Koladejew played in the U18 ice hockey championship of Asia and Oceania in 1994 , which he was able to win with the Kazakh selection.

For Kazakhstan , Koledajew took part in the men's division at the 1999 World Cup and, after switching to the current division system, at the World Championships in Division I in 2011 and the Top Division in 2005 , 2006 and 2010 . He was also in his country's squad at the 2006 Winter Olympics in Turin and the 2011 Asian Winter Games . In the latter, he won the gold medal with his team.
