Alexei Roshchyn ( Belarusian Аляксей Рощынь , German transcription from Belarusian Aljaksej Roschtschyn ; born March 20, 1985 in Minsk , Belarus ) is a former Belarusian - Spanish ice hockey player and current referee who was under contract with the CH Jaca in the Spanish Super League .

Career

Alexei Roshchyn, whose father Jauhen took part in the 1998 Winter Olympics in Nagano for Belarus , was on the ice for CH Jaca in the 2007/08 season in the Spanish Super League . He then played for two years for CPLV Dismeva from Valladolid in the second Spanish division before ending his career in 2010.

International

After his naturalization, the native Belarusian Roshchyn stood at the World Championships Division II in 2008 , 2009 and 2010 in the Spanish contingent , with 2010 of promotion to the Division I. He also represented his colors at the qualifying tournament for the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver .

referee

After the end of his active career, Roshchyn continued to devote himself to ice hockey as a referee . In addition to his appearances in the Spanish Super League , he is also used internationally in the lower divisions at the World Championships for men and the U18 and U20 juniors.
