Alexei Wassiljewitsch Rebko ( Russian Алексей Васильевич Ребко ; born April 23, 1986 in Moscow , USSR ) is a former Russian football player .

career

He started playing football in the Trudowye Reserwy Moscow Sports School . In 2002, at the age of 16, he moved to Spartak Moscow . There, the then coach Oleg Romanzew called him on July 10, 2002 in the 87th minute of the away game against Zenit Saint Petersburg when Rebko was 3-2. At 16 years and 78 days, Alexei Rebko is the youngest player to ever play for Spartak Moscow and in the Premjer league . After this short assignment he played almost exclusively in the second team. From 2006, when Vladimir Fedotov became the club's head coach, Rebko was used more often. Nevertheless, he moved to Rubin Kazan in February 2008 . Here, too, he didn't last long and signed with FK Moscow for three years in July of the same year.

He has been playing for the Russian national football team since 2009. In qualifying for the 2010 World Cup , he played three games for his country. He also played in the U-18 national team until 2004. In 2006 Rebko belonged to the Russian U-21 squad in qualifying for the U-21 European Championship 2007 , but failed in the last qualifying round despite a 4-1 home win after a 0-3 away defeat by Portugal.
