Alexei Vladimirovich Schindin ( Russian Алексей Владимирович Шиндин ; born September 16, 1981 in Tolyatti ) is a Russian handball player .

The 1.79 meter tall and 76 kilogram right winger has been under contract with SKIF Krasnodar since 2001 . With this club he played in the 2007/2008 and 2009/2010 seasons in the EHF Cup , 2003/2004, 2005/2006 and 2008/2009 in the EHF Challenge Cup and in 2006/2007 in the European Cup Winners' Cup . Previously he played for GK Lada Tolyatti . In 2010 he moved to GK Newa St. Petersburg , with whom he was eliminated in the group stage of the EHF Champions League 2010/11 and 2011/12. In 2012 he signed with the Ukrainian club HK Dinamo Poltava , but returned to Medvedi Perm in Russia in November 2012 . In 2014 he won the Russian Cup with Medvedi.

Alexei Schindin is part of the Russian national team , for example for the 2010 European Handball Championship . He took part in the 2013 World Cup. So far, he has played 15 international matches in which he scored 20 goals. (As of February 1, 2013)
