Alexei Wladimirowitsch Tereschchenko ( Russian Алексей Владимирович Терещенко ; born December 16, 1980 in Moshaisk ) is a Russian ice hockey player who was last under contract with HK Dinamo Minsk in the Continental Hockey League .
Career
Alexei Tereschtschenko comes from the offspring of HK Dynamo Moscow and played his first games in the Russian Super League in the 1998/99 season . In the 2000 NHL Entry Draft , the Dallas Stars selected him in the third round in 91st place. In both 2000 and 2005 he became Russian champions with Dynamo before moving to Ak Bars Kazan in summer 2005 . With Kazan he became Russian champion again in 2006 and won the IIHF European Champions Cup in 2007 . After this success he was signed by Salawat Julajew Ufa . With Ufa he reached the championship of the Superliga again at the end of the 2007/08 season, but returned to Kazan in the summer of 2009. With Ak Bars he won the KHL championship trophy , the Gagarin Cup , in 2010 . In the following four seasons he was always one of the top performers in the team before he did not receive a new contract with Ak Bars in the summer of 2014 due to the rejuvenation of the team. A few days later he was signed by his home club, HK Dynamo Moscow. There he played continuously for the next three years before his contract, which ran until 2018, was terminated by the KHL in July 2017, as Dynamo had violated the KHL's financial regulations. In September of the same year, Tereshchenko received a new one-year contract from Dynamo after he had not signed up to any other club.
In the summer of 2018, Tereshchenko received no new contract with Dynamo Moscow and was only signed by HK Dinamo Minsk in November of the same year . For Dinamo he reached 16 points scorer in 30 KHL games, left the Minsk club at the end of the season and should get another contract with his home club in May 2019. However, this did not materialize.
