Alexis Blin (born September 16, 1996 in Le Mans ) is a French football player on the position of midfielder . He has been in the professional squad of the French first division club FC Toulouse since 2015 . He is also a multiple French youth national player.
Club career
Born in the big city of Le Mans, Blin began his career as a football player in 2002 at the football club from La Bazoge , a small suburb north of Le Mans. There he went through all youth league classes until 2007, before moving to the junior division of the French first division club Le Mans FC that year, where he was used in various youth teams. In the 2012/13 season, the midfielder in the CFA , the fourth highest football league in the country, made his competitive debut in a men's team when he came onto the pitch in the 84th minute for Anthony Derouard in a 2-0 home win over GSI Pontivy . For the reserve team, he came to a total of seven championship appearances by the end of the season, when the team was in eleventh place in the table.
Immediately after this season, Alexis Blin moved to the youth department of Ligue 1 club FC Toulouse , where he was initially used in the youth team, but also made regular appearances in the reserve team with play in the French fifth division (CFA 2) . For example, he played with FC Toulouse B for promotion to the next higher division and at the end of the 2013/14 season, after having played ten games, he was fourth in Group F. In the following 2014/15 season, Blin also alternated in the youth team and in the B. Team deployed. With this he was once again involved in the promotion battle, but again only reached fourth place with the team in the final classification of Group H of the CFA 2. He also made his first competitive appearances for the professional team in 2014/15 . National team career
Alexis Blin made his debut in a French youth national team in 2013 when he made his first appearance for the U-17 national team in his home country. He played the 2-0 win in the friendly against his colleagues from Israel on January 29, 2013 for the full duration of the match. After another international match against Israel two days later, he completed two qualifying games of the elite round for the U-17 European Championship 2013 for the team in March of the same year , in which he was later not used.
About a year and a half later, he finally made his debut on September 4, 2014 in a friendly international match against Serbia for the French U-19 team, where he came on the pitch in minute 76 for Samed Kılıç . In a 7-0 win in a friendly against neighboring Belgium , he scored the first goal for his home country in his third U-19 international match on September 8, 2014. After a few friendlies and qualifying matches for the U-19 European Championship , Patrick Gonfalone called him up in June 2015 for the U-19 European Championship finals, which will take place in Greece between 6 and 19 July. To date (as of July 14, 2015) Blin has been used in two of the three group wins in his country and is currently in the semi-finals with the team.
