Alfons Kreussel

Alfons Kreussel (born April 7, 1910 in Nuremberg , † April 3, 1963 in Burghaig ) was a German politician of the CSU .

Life

After graduating from high school, Kreussel studied Protestant theology, philosophy, German and history in Bonn , Leipzig and Erlangen . During his studies he became a member of the Leipzig and Nuremberg Wingolf . From 1937 he was initially active as a vicar in the regional church service, the following year he began as a religion teacher at a secondary school in Regensburg . In 1946 he moved to Dinkelsbühl as a pastor , and from 1954 on he taught religious studies and religious education at the Munich-Pasing University of Education .

At the end of 1945 Kreussel took part in the founding of the CSU in Regensburg. He was a member of the state executive committee and the executive state executive committee of the CSU. He was also involved in founding the Evangelical Working Group in 1952, and was the first chairman of the EAK of the CSU until 1962. In 1958 he was elected to the Bavarian state parliament. Although he missed re-election in 1962, he succeeded the late Max Jüngling on February 18, 1963 . However, Kreussel died only a few weeks later, his successor in the state parliament was Georg Kügel .
