Alfonso Pinto (born October 4, 1978 in Torre Annunziata ) is a former Italian boxer .

In 2004 Alfonso Pinto won the silver medal at the European Championships in Croatia and the EU Championships in Spain. He was eliminated in the final matches against Sergei Kasakow and Jérôme Thomas , while he had defeated in the previous rounds Conor Ahern, Wladislaw Sokolow, Salim Salimow, Dávid Oltványi and Alexander Alexandrow. At the 2004 Summer Olympics in Greece he beat Effiong Asuquo and Carlos Tamara , then lost in the quarterfinals to Atagün Yalçınkaya and was eliminated in fifth place.

In 2005 he won the EU Championships in Italy against Łukasz Maszczyk and Iulius Poczo and the Mediterranean Games in Spain against Redouane Bouchtouk , Kelvin de la Nieve and Amjad Aouda .

In 2006 he again fought for the runner-up European title at the European Championships in Bulgaria, when he lost to David Hajrapetjan in the final after victories against Łukasz Maszczyk, Amine Lamiri and Moomin Veli .
