Alfred Aichinger
Alfred Aichinger (born February 17, 1934 in Ried in der Riedmark ; † October 15, 2009 ) was an Austrian social security employee and politician .
Live and act
Aichinger is a trained machine fitter and attended evening school after completing his apprenticeship . From 1955 to 1991 he worked for the workers' pension insurance company in Linz.
His political activity began as a councilor in Ried in der Riedmark in 1961. From 1973 to 1996 he was mayor there .
Aichinger was from October 25, 1979 to October 21, 1982 a member of the Federal Council ( SPÖ ) and from 1982 to 1990 a member of the Upper Austrian Landtag . From 1987 to 1997 he was Vice President of the Upper Austrian Association of Municipalities and a member of the Austrian Association of Municipalities.
