Alfred Chilhaud-Dumaine

Alfred Chilhaud-Dumaine (born December 25, 1852 in Paris , † February 6, 1930 ) was a French diplomat .

Life

Alfred Chilhaud-Dumaine visited the elite university École Nationale des Chartes , which he in 1877 with a thesis on Savary de Mauléon completed. On January 15, 1877, he entered the foreign service . From 1887 to 1892 he was legation secretary in Berlin . From 1904 to 1907 he was ambassador in Munich . From 1907 to 1912 he was envoy to Mexico City . From May 18, 1912 to August 10, 1914 he was envoy to Vienna , replacing Philippe Crozier .
