Alfred Heinz Kettmann

Alfred Heinz Kettmann (born March 17, 1912 in Annaberg , Erzgebirge, † December 28, 2010 in Crailsheim ) was a German painter and graphic artist .

After graduating from high school, Alfred Heinz Kettmann began training as a graphic designer in 1932 and worked as a commercial artist in Chemnitz and Munich until 1938 . From 1938 to 1945 he worked as an industrial graphic designer in Brandenburg (Havel) and Silesia. After the war he settled in Bamberg as a freelance artist . There he designed courses at the adult education center from 1950 to 1979.

The Bamberg State Library has been managing an extensive estate since 2009.
