societies

Huber belonged to the Rastatt FV 04 from 1925 to 1939 and the merged FC Rastatt 04 from 1939 to 1945 as a defender , with a break from 1933 to 1936 , when he was active as a striker for 1. FC Pforzheim .

Out of adolescence, he came to the club for the first time in the 1928/29 season in the regional top division, the Württemberg / Baden district league , group Baden , in which he played until the end of the 1932/33 season. As second in the Baden group in 1931/32 , he took part with the team in the finals for the South German Championship in the South / East group, which they finished seventh out of eight teams.

This was followed by three seasons for 1. FC Pforzheim in the Gauliga Baden , in one of the first 16, later increased to 23 Gauligen at the time of National Socialism in the German Empire as a uniform top division.

Returned to Rastatt, he played the 1936/37 season with the Rastatt FV 04 as a newcomer to the Gauliga Baden, but rose as the last-placed of 10 clubs from this. It was not until the 1939/40 season that he was again promoted to the Mittelbaden group , from which, however, he had to relegate. For the 1941/42 season he was again promoted to the group south ; in the 1944/45 season there was no regular game operation.

After the end of the Second World War , he won the Südbadischer Pokal in 1946 with FC Rastatt 04.
