Alfred Maseng Nalo

Alfred Maseng Nalo († November 18, 2004 in Luganville , Espiritu Santo Island ) was a politician and President of Vanuatu .

From January 30, 1994 to March 2, 1994 he was the spokesman for the Legislative Assembly (Legislative Assembly) successor to Frederick Karlomuana Timakata as acting President of Vanuatu. He then served as Foreign Minister in Prime Minister Serge Vohor's cabinet from 1995 to 1996 .

He was elected president from April 12, 2004 to May 11, 2004. He was forced to resign after public protests and a decision by the Supreme Court on charges of taking advantage of advantages, fraud and corruption.
