Roger Tom Abiut (* 1972 ?) Was Speaker of Parliament from 2003 to July 27, 2004 and Acting President of Vanuatu from March 24 to April 12 to July 29, 2004 .

Abuit is a member of the Vanuatu Labor Party . He was appointed as parliamentary speaker appointed acting president as the five-year tenure of John Bennett Bani ended. When a new president, Alfred Maseng Nalo , was elected, his first provisional presidency ended. Shortly afterwards, on May 11, 2004, Maseng was deposed and Abuit was again interim president. Abiut lost his parliamentary mandate a short time later , and with it his position as President of Parliament and Acting President.
