Alfred Steinberg-Frank

Alfred Steinberg-Frank (born May 6, 1888 in Vienna ; † November 19, 1953 there ) was a bank clerk and lyricist of Viennese songs.

Live and act

Alfred Steinberg-Frank initially worked as an authorized signatory at a major bank. After their collapse he worked as a freelance writer, operetta librettist and lyricist. Up to 600 Viennese songs are attributed to him. He wrote songs like That was in Petersdorf together with Heinrich Strecker .

He was also president of the Society for the Promotion of Viennese Folk Art .

Steinberg-Frank is buried in an honorary grave of the City of Vienna in the Vienna Central Cemetery (30D-2-9)
