Algirdas Kudzys

Algirdas Kudzys (born July 24, 1956 in Kaunas , Lithuanian SSR ) is a Lithuanian politician.

Life

After graduating from high school in 1974 at the 22nd Vilnius Middle School, he graduated with honors in civil engineering at the Vilniaus inžinerinis statybos institutas in 1979 and received his doctorate in 1985 at the Kaunas Building Institute. From 1990 he studied in Japan. In 1995 he received his doctorate from the University of Hokkaidō and completed his habilitation in 2000 at the Vilniaus Gedimino technikos universitetas . He is a professor at the Faculty of Architecture at VGTU.

In 2000 he was the first deputy mayor of Vilnius , head of the Vilnius district from 2000 to 2001, and ambassador from 2002 to 2006 .
